Best car insurance rates for male college student?

Hi,

My bf is buying a 1996 Corolla. It comes with VIPER anti-theft. he is with one speeding ticket. How would he go about finding the best deal for car insurance? The best deal he got was from geico, the bare minimum plan I think, for 0 / 6 months. They also gave him the good student discount. The last owner of the car payed 0 for 6 months.

Any tips and tricks to lower his insurance rate?thanks
